Where to Buy OREO Cookies: Stores, Online, and Bulk

Two Ways to Buy: OREO.com or a Retailer

There are two ways to buy OREO cookies in the United States: order them from oreo.com, the brand’s own shop, or buy them from a retailer — a supermarket, a warehouse club, a drug store, a convenience store, or an online retailer. The two routes sell different things in different ways: oreo.com sells two-packs, custom cookies, limited editions, and bundles, and ships them to you; retailers sell everyday single packs and a wide everyday range, and you can pick them up the same day. Mondelēz describes OREO as “AMERICA’S FAVORITE COOKIE®, available in more than 100 countries around the globe” — but this page covers the United States only.

Buying from oreo.com

Oreo.com is a direct-to-consumer shop. It sells standard cookies mainly as two-packs, plus custom OREOiD cookies, limited editions, Cakesters, Zero Sugar packs, bundles, and gift tins. Ordering from oreo.com makes sense for a gift, a custom order, or a limited edition that is sold through the brand’s own store — not for a quick everyday pack, because orders take 8–10 business days to process before they ship.

Buying from a store

Everyday single packs are a retail purchase. Supermarkets, supercenters, warehouse clubs, drug stores, and convenience stores all carry OREO, and a wide everyday range of standard lines and pack sizes is on supermarket or supercenter shelves. Buying in a store also gives you pickup and same-day delivery options that oreo.com does not offer. For choosing a variety and a pack size before you buy, see the OREO buying guide.

Buying from OREO.com

What oreo.com sells

Oreo.com sells standard cookies as two-packs — for example, the Chocolate Sandwich Cookies Family Size 2-pack, listed at $10.00 on 8 November 2026 — alongside limited editions, Zero Sugar packs, Cakesters, bundles such as the Thins Bundle, and gift tins. Single packs appear only for a few lines. There is no case-size or warehouse-size pack for households on oreo.com; consumer “bulk” there means two-packs and bundles.

Shipping and returns

Orders take 8–10 business days to process, Monday through Thursday only, and then ship by FedEx Ground: Standard Ground usually arrives in 3–5 business days, Expedited in 1–2. Oreo.com ships within the United States only — no PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Alaska, or Hawaii — and does not ship on Thursday through Sunday during warmer months or to warmer climates. Heat-sensitive items ship with insulated packaging and an ice-gel pack that lasts up to 48 hours, because fudge-covered cookies melt in temperatures above 75°F. All sales are final: once an order is placed it cannot be cancelled or changed, and food and personalized items are nonrefundable except when they arrive damaged or contain an error by OREO — damage claims must be made within 30 days of the ship date.

OREOiD and limited editions

OREOiD custom cookies are sold only through oreo.com. You choose a base cookie, a fudge dip or none, sprinkles, a design, and packaging — a gift box or a collectible tin — and the cookies are made to order. OREOiD cookies contain wheat, soy, or milk, and are not kosher or vegan. Limited editions are also sold on oreo.com; for example, the Twist, Lick, Vote trio was presold online before reaching retailers; see Limited Editions and Online-Only Drops below.

Buying in Stores

Supermarkets and grocery stores

Supermarkets and grocery stores carry a wide everyday range of OREO: Original, Double Stuf, Golden, Thins, Mini, and Gluten-Free, in several pack sizes. Kroger, for example, lists the Original Family Size 18.12 oz pack, and most supermarkets stock the standard lines alongside seasonal and limited-edition flavors. Flavor availability varies by store — a supermarket’s listing may show most flavors as unavailable at one location while another location stocks them.

Warehouse clubs and bulk

Warehouse clubs sell OREO in bulk formats: variety packs, snack packs, and stay-fresh packs. Costco, for example, lists a 60-count variety pack of 30 Original, 20 Double Stuf, and 10 Golden cookies; Sam’s Club lists snack packs of 30 two-cookie packs; BJ’s lists stay-fresh packs of 12 individually wrapped sleeves. These formats suit households that go through cookies quickly or buy for a group — for a single household, a large pack can go stale before it is finished, so check the storage guidance on how to store OREO cookies first. Club membership is required to buy in store. Online availability for club packs has varied, so check the current listing rather than assuming a pack is in stock.

Drug stores and convenience stores

Drug stores such as CVS and Walgreens and convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and Dollar General sell OREO in standard sizes and singles, and they are the easiest place to buy one pack quickly. The range is narrower than a supermarket’s: convenience stores carry standard sizes but no Family Size was found at 7-Eleven, and some items are in-store only — CVS marks its White Fudge Covered pack “InStoreOnly,” and Walgreens marks some items “Buy in store only.” Availability is store-dependent: a Dollar General listing may say “Not sold at your store” for one product while another store stocks it.

Buying Online

Online retailers and delivery apps

Beyond oreo.com, OREO is sold by online retailers and through delivery apps. Target and Walmart, for example, sell OREO through their own sites with pickup, delivery, and shipping options, and delivery apps such as Instacart, Shipt, and Uber Eats deliver OREO from local stores to your door. Prices on these channels vary by seller and by area — the same pack can cost different amounts at different ZIP codes — so compare the current listing rather than assuming one channel is always cheaper.

Pickup and same-day delivery

Most large retailers offer pickup and same-day delivery for OREO. Walmart lists delivery as soon as 29 minutes and Express Pickup as soon as 1 hour on some items; Target offers Order Pickup and Same Day Delivery; Kroger’s listings carry a pickup fulfillment option; Costco offers same-day delivery in some areas, with two-day transit included on online orders (delivery is not available to Hawaii or Puerto Rico). Delivery apps deliver in as little as 2 hours. Delivery fees, minimums, and pickup fees vary by service, location, and order. Oreo.com itself is ship-only and offers no pickup or same-day delivery.

Subscription and Repeat Orders

Oreo.com has no subscription, auto-delivery, or repeat-order program. The OREO Dunk Club is an email newsletter — sign up for 15% off and news about exclusive offers — not a subscription. Some online retailers offer repeat-delivery discounts on their own terms; check the retailer’s own page for whether a repeat-delivery option applies to OREO and what it costs, because it is a retailer feature, not an oreo.com program.

Prices: What Varies and What to Check

Why prices differ

The same OREO pack costs different amounts at different sellers, and the gap is wide. On 8 November 2026, the Original Family Size 18.12 oz pack was listed at $4.79 at Kroger and $5.69 at Target — both opened directly that day, both in stock — and at $7.29 in a Walgreens weekly ad for 8–14 November 2026. That is a snapshot, not a ranking: prices change, promotions move them further, and the same pack can cost different amounts at different stores of one chain and at different ZIP codes. No retailer is presented here as the cheapest, because no such claim is supported by a single day’s listings.

How to compare — price per ounce

Compare the price per ounce, not the headline pack price. A Family Size pack at $4.79 for 18.12 oz is about 26¢ per ounce; the same pack at $5.69 is about 31¢ per ounce; at $7.29 it is about 40¢ per ounce. A bigger pack is not automatically cheaper per ounce, and a smaller pack is not automatically more expensive — the per-ounce figure is the one that tells you. The same rule applies to bulk formats: divide the price by the total weight before comparing a warehouse-club pack with a supermarket pack.

Promotions

Promotions change OREO prices week to week. Target has run “Buy 2 for $9” on select OREO packs, Kroger has run promotions as low as $2.74 per pack, and Dollar General has run “2 FOR $10.00” on Mega Stuf Family Size. A promotion is a dated offer, not a standing price — check the current listing and the promotion’s dates before buying, and check whether it applies at your store, because promotions vary by location.

Limited Editions and Online-Only Drops

How limited editions reach stores

Limited editions usually reach retailers nationwide after an online presale, while supplies last. For the Twist Lick Vote trio, Mondelēz said the three packs would be presold on oreo.com and TikTok Shop before reaching grocery and retail stores nationwide on 24 August 2026. For the Twist, Lick, Vote launch, the pattern was online presale first, then nationwide retail; a flavor that sells out at oreo.com may still be on supermarket shelves, and the reverse is also true.

Online-only drops

A few OREO products are sold only online. Espresso Creme Thins were sold only through oreo.com as a one-batch drop of 1,000 packs: registration ran 20 October to 3 November 2026, claims ran 4 to 9 November 2026 or until supplies were exhausted, and the product was free with buyers paying only shipping. It was not sold in stores. OREOiD custom cookies are likewise sold only through oreo.com, because they are made to order. For the full list of limited editions and their availability, see Limited Edition OREO Flavors.

What Is Not Sold Where

Retailer exclusives — none verified

As of 8 November 2026, no currently sold OREO sandwich cookie was verified as exclusive to one retailer. Limited editions have been exclusive to one retailer in the past, but exclusivity can expire — a flavor that was once sold at one chain can later be sold nationwide — so this page makes no current exclusivity claim for any flavor. If a listing calls a flavor exclusive, check the listing’s date: an old exclusive may no longer be one.

Market-specific flavors

Some OREO flavors are made for specific markets outside the United States, and a US buyer may also see non-US flavors through import retailers, which are separate sellers and not official US distribution. This page does not list market-specific flavors, because no official Mondelēz list of them was verified. Do not assume a flavor sold abroad is sold in the US, and do not assume it is unavailable in the US without a source.

Stock varies by seller and store

Stock varies by seller and by store, not just by flavor. A limited-edition flavor can be out of stock at one seller while still on shelves at another: in November 2026, H-E-B listed Apple Pie a la Mode as out of stock. A listing that says “not sold at your store” means that store does not carry it, not that the product is discontinued. Before driving to a store for a specific flavor, check that store’s current listing.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy OREO cookies?

At supermarkets such as Kroger, supercenters such as Target and Walmart, warehouse clubs such as Costco, Sam's Club, and BJ's, drug stores such as CVS and Walgreens, and convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and Dollar General — or online from oreo.com and other online retailers. Retailer names here are examples, not endorsements, and availability varies by store.

Does oreo.com sell OREO cookies directly?

Yes. Oreo.com sells two-packs of standard cookies, custom OREOiD cookies, limited editions, bundles, and gift sets. Orders take 8–10 business days to process, then ship by FedEx Ground within the US only. All sales are final, and oreo.com offers no subscription and no in-store pickup.

Can I buy OREO cookies in bulk?

Yes, at warehouse clubs, which sell variety packs, snack packs, and stay-fresh packs. Oreo.com also offers volume pricing for large business or wedding orders through its Events team. Mondelēz Foodservice sells OREO cookie pieces and cake bases as ingredients for businesses, not bulk cookies for households.

Are OREO cookies cheaper online or in stores?

There is no fixed answer. On 8 November 2026, the same Original Family Size 18.12 oz pack was listed at $4.79 at Kroger, $5.69 at Target, and $7.29 in a Walgreens weekly ad — a snapshot, not a ranking, and prices change. Compare the price per ounce and check the current listing before you buy.

Can I get OREO cookies delivered the same day?

Yes, through retailer pickup and same-day delivery and through delivery apps such as Instacart, Shipt, and Uber Eats, depending on your area. Oreo.com is ship-only, with 8–10 business days of processing before shipping, so it is not a same-day option.
